The Law of Attraction and Children
To see how best to apply the Law of Attraction to produce desired results in our lives, all we need to do is look to the maestros of this process - children.
Children are inclined to accept the Law of Attraction without much trouble or resistance at all. They are used to Asking for what they're want, Accepting that their asking is to be satisfied by a power outside themselves, and Allowing their requests to be granted.
Children aren't caught up like adults in cycles of self-loathing or un-deservingness. Neither have they been conditioned to think that the only way to have anything is to go out and get it themselves.
Their attitude in life, as depending on parental figures, requires that they trust forces external of themselves, forces they do not understand, to provide for their fulfillment. They accept that, and behave accordingly - asking for what they want and then waiting for it to be given, with no shred of doubt about the fact that they deserve having everything they ask for.
At some point these sensibilities are trained out of us (or squeezed out of us, in the worst of cases), but we each came into this world already knowing and applying the Law of Attraction flawlessly.
Ask a child what they want and you'll probably become worn out just listening to the list. Kids aren't shy about telling you exactly what they want, and all of it. They have not developed yet the devices we adults use to refuse ourselves even the feelings of desire. They have no shame about wanting what they want. Nor do they have any concept of what being "realistic" or "selfish" means. Nothing can diminish their wholehearted knowing that fulfillment of their every want is not just entirely possible, but probable too. That all comes later.
Until then, however, a child won't let one small disappointment dissuade them from a subsequent fulfillment. And a kid doesn't kid themselves either into believing that they have any power to go out and get their desires met other than by asking for it and waiting for someone (or something) else to make it happen for them.
Children live in the moment, in that all-powerful present that we adults have to struggle so hard to find and stay in for more than a few minutes or seconds at a time. Children aren't burdened by fears and traumas of the past, nor by worries about the future. They are in the here and now - in the perfect position for The Law of Attraction to work its magic. No wonder kids are perceived as having such easy, happy, blessed lives. They do! They are naturally positive, confident, light-hearted, and carefree. And their desires match this vibrational frequency. So they deserve to have it easy, to feel happy, to be blessed. And so they are.
Perhaps one way to recall this state within yourself is to start treating yourself as you would a child you were responsible for. That is to say, with tenderness, support and encouragement, positive reinforcement, and most importantly unconditional love and forgiveness.
By cultivating these states of being within yourself, you will start to experience a reactivating of that innocent sense of trusting and surrender that is innate in every child.
